ZESONG | Brand Story

My name is Zesong, and I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts. I once devoted myself to the world of watercolor, oil painting, Chinese ink painting, printmaking, and pottery, where I discovered the boundless charm of art and culture. Yet, after graduation, I chose a seemingly different path—I worked in the restaurant industry. Those years taught me responsibility and management, and gave me stability, but deep inside, my heart was never truly fulfilled.


I always carried a dream: to build my own company, one deeply rooted in Chinese traditional arts. This idea kept surfacing, no matter how hard I tried to suppress it. Eventually, I chose courage over comfort. I resigned from my stable job and used my savings to create ZESONG.


China, as one of the world’s oldest civilizations, holds countless cultural treasures—the delicacy of Dian Cui, the rhythm of tie-dye, the brilliance of cloisonné, the luster of lacquerware, the soul of shadow puppetry… Each of these crafts embodies the spirit of Chinese artistry. Yet in today’s world, they remain underrepresented, too often hidden from the global stage.


At ZESONG, our mission is to let the world rediscover their beauty. Through modern design and global communication, we aim to protect these treasures while reimagining them for the future.
